Thinking about things

I have been invited to the agriculture project in Ghana. My schedule date to leave is October 1. I am very excited because this is the exact job that I wanted! I am leaving quite earlier than I thought I was going to be leaving. When I was interviewed I was told that January would be the soonest I could leave, but I might not make it into that group of people, and it might even be until the April/May/June placements that I get placed. Leaving sooner is great news but it did catch me a bit off guard at first. I had been planning on working full time and saving up as much money as possible until I left, but the early departure changed my mind. I figured it was more important to see as many people as I can before I leave, and relax and have a good time. I have been doing just that. I went down to Savannah and stayed with my mom for a week. It was very nice and relaxing there. Now I am staying with my sister, who has two adorable nephews of mine that are very fun to be around. And my sister makes the best chocolate chip cookies. It has been wonderful being here. I have been working for my dad some while I stay around here, which is nice because I choose my own hours. 

But last night my car broke on the side on 421 which was not cool. Not sure if Im going to be able to make it to Raleigh for Stefanie's birthday now...or even Gnarnia on thursday...
